Whenever Ashclan's leader requires an announcement to be made they rush out of the den and scramble up into the Shattered Willow as the Clan has opted to name the weeping willow nestled into the back of the camp. Sitting on one of the lower branches provides an excellent view of the camp while letting the leader be heard by all cats below. The Shattered willow is where the leader makes all Clan announcements such as apprenticeship, naming ceremonies, all patrol parties and the like. No one except the Clan leader is allowed onto the Shattered Willow.
